Passage to India

Passage to India

You will need:

  • A5 card and envelope
  • Bridght coloured card for matting and layering
  • Sahri Girl (DDV0126)
  • Sakura pens
  • Glitter Glue in gold
  • Peel Off borders
  • Adhesives
  • Crystal
  1. Take two colours of the card that you have chosen to matt and layer with.  Forn two strips that are the same length as the card, one must be slightly thinner than the other. Stick these on the left hand side of the card.
  2. Using the sahri girl as a guide make a layer of the two colours as in the picture.  Before you stick this into place, put peel off borders around the inner of the two recatangles that the sahri girl will sit on and the edge of the inner strip down the edge of the card.  Now stick in position as shown.
  3. Take the flesh coloured sahri girl, this is your base.  Now take a dress colour that you like and eliminate the pieces that you do not need, ie the face the arms, legs and face etc.  Stick this into place.  On this particular sample, the definaition of the dress has been achieved by colouring using sakura pens.  However, if you desired, you could cut out all the different layers and sticj them on.
  4. Colour in the hair, black looks good here.  Next colour in the flip flops, the perforations will help here.
  5. Stick the sahri girl in place in her mount.  Add a crystal at the top of her hair line.
  6. Finally, add a bit of bling to the card by putting gold glitter glue all down the peel off borders and around the patterns of the dress.
